In order to get to the good ending, you have to let the misunderstanding continue. The ending comes from whether Hinako manages to convince herself that she likes Toshiya as well. Really, girl? I don’t think that anyone would NOT misinterpret that… Actually, she only wanted to “reward” him. Toshiya assumed that her act of giving chocolate during Valentine’s day was a romantic confession, and the fact that he didn’t turn her down means that he agreed for them to start dating. Unfortunately, the drama of his route that same old “do you really love me?” crap again. His exchanges with Hinako were fun to read ever since the common route, so I had high expectations. He was more like a kindergartner who does pointless things just to get her attention. Initially, I thought that he would be like a high school bully whose role is to give Hinako a hard time. Since the aforementioned store is opposite from where Hinako works, he visits her workplace from time to time. He’s the manager of Blue Moon, a rival clothing store. To get her attention, he pulls her hair instead of calling her name. His good ending was nothing special, but it gave enough closure to the story, I guess. Personally, I like him but not as much as that other host in Onedari Sharemate.Įdit (June 19, 2021): Wait, I did not even know where I got that first sentence from Hayato actually was one of the better received characters in the game since he’s relatively sane compared to the other guys. Hayato is not well-liked in the reviews for some reason, even if I thought that he’s sincere as a boyfriend. The ending comes from whether Hinako believes in him. Hayato already had decided to resign ever since he and Hinako started going out.
He should have known better given his background (which involves his dad being cheated on) and the awareness that the nature of his job might introduce problems in their relationship. However, one flaw I can point out about him is how he failed to recognize Hinako’s jealousy when they’re together at the host club. Hayato is also not the first “host”-type character that I’ve encountered in an otome game. Guess that the host occupation (or simply put, a trait that makes a guy interact with other girls a lot) isn’t really a bad thing per se. He also has a sister but she never makes an appearance in the story.
Hayato had issues with his mother, though his route works with how he deals with it by himself instead of confronting his mother about it.
